LaMunyon, LLC, doing business as IUL Barons ("we," "us," "our"), operates iulbarons.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information. By using the Site or submitting your information, you agree to this Policy. The Site is operated by Michael LaMunyon, a licensed life insurance agent (NPN 22188191). We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone, email, ZIP/state, age, homeowner status, coverage interests, general health details you choose to share, and other quote-form inputs.
- Consent records: the consent language shown, date/time, and your submission.
- Automatic data: IP address, device/browser, pages viewed, and similar usage data via cookies.
- Advertising identifiers: click IDs (e.g., Google Click ID, Meta Click ID) and campaign parameters.
2. How we use your information
To respond to your quote request and contact you about life insurance (by phone, text/SMS, and email); to prepare quotes and connect you with carriers; to operate, secure, and improve the Site and our advertising; and to meet legal and insurance-licensing obligations.
3. Text messaging (SMS) and phone consent (TCPA)
If you provide your phone number and consent, you agree that Michael LaMunyon / LaMunyon, LLC may contact you at that number — including by automated technology, prerecorded or artificial voice, and SMS — about life insurance, even if your number is on a Do-Not-Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out; HELP for help. We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and pixels — including Google and Meta advertising/analytics tools — to operate the Site and measure ads. You can control cookies in your browser and opt out of personalized ads via Google and Meta ad-preference tools.
5. How we share information
Only as needed: with insurance carriers/underwriters to obtain quotes you request; with service providers (CRM, communications, advertising) under confidentiality; and for legal/regulatory reasons. We do not sell your personal information for money.
6. Data retention
We retain your information as long as needed to serve you, meet insurance and legal record-keeping requirements (including consent records), and resolve disputes, then delete or de-identify it.
7. Your choices and rights
Opt out of texts (reply STOP), emails (unsubscribe), or call us to update preferences. Depending on your state (e.g., California, Colorado, Virginia), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information, or opt out of certain processing — contact us to exercise them. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy; changes are effective when posted with the updated date above.
